As a bona fide member of the PPP and a concerned citizen, I wish to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt lost in some constituencies we contested in. Be that as it may, I wish to congratulate President Barrow and the NPP for winning majority of the seats as well as other parties and independent candidates that are duly elected to serve in the National Assembly.
Now that the bottle is lost and won, I urge all the independent candidates to work with the NPP in ensuring that the country is held with a firm grip. This is cognizant in view of the fact that when the independent candidates form a synergy with the ruling party, they can increase effectiveness by sharing perceptions and experiences, insights, and knowledge to develop the country.
As the National Assembly carries the tasks of amending, making and repealing laws, I urge the Members of Parliament to invest their efforts towards elevating the living standards of the citizens of the country. As we work together to achieve the progress we all desire, I’d like to wish the entire Parliament a very happy and momentous tenure in office.
